On behalf of the entire staff and students in Building and Civil Engineering Department at Katine Technical Training Institute I am pleased to welcome you to our official website. Building and Civil Engineering Department offers a wide range of academic programmes at Diploma (Level
6), Certificate (Level 5) and Artisan (Level 3 & 4). The programmes are examined by KNEC, CDACC and NITA.

In order to equip our trainees with the ability to demonstrate the acquired knowledge, skills and attitude and demonstrate their prowess in the rapidly changing construction industry, we encourage exchange programs through industrial attachment linkages, academic trips,
participation in TVET trade fairs, research and innovations blended with real construction practical lessons within the institute. Our programmes are designed to enable students develop core competencies, acquire problem-solving skills, and prepare for related work environment in
the best way possible.

The Department also offers a wide range of short courses in order to provide equal access to skill development amongst the majority youthful population in the country as we strive to produce competent graduates with hands-on skills. Our graduates are equipped with strong analytical and
critical skills required for innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership. We wish to invite you all to train with us in any of the following areas;
